Thinkpad Yoga 260 Touch Screen Ghost Touches

#1 Post by hsaadi10 » Wed Aug 24, 2016 10:52 pm

I have a new Thinkpad Yoga 260. While my laptop is switched on I see ghost touches on my screen. Random touches just open and close programs without me touching the computer. Sometimes I see circles on the touch screen (where the touch point appeared).

I calibrated the screen and tried updating drivers from Microsoft and Lenovo but that did not solve the problem.

This makes the laptop not usable and I had to disable the HID Touch Monitor feature, so I am losing a major feature (touch sreen) of the laptop. Same problem was seen and fixed on the Lenovo Yoga 13 (LG monitor driver) but I could not find any fix for this model.

Can anyone help????

Does it go away right after restart ? A repair is probably the only solution.

If I close the latptop (sleep) and open it again it will go, but shortly after it the same behavior comes again. It is very random and can not be linked to anything sepecific.
