X1 Yoga 3rd Gen - Ports

#1 Post by burhan » Sat Jan 13, 2018 10:09 pm

This year at CES, Lenovo announced updated to both X1 Carbon and X1 Yoga; including updates to the screens and the fact that both laptops now charge via USB-C.

I am teetering between X1 Yoga and Carbon, and wondering if the Thunderbolt ports are 20GB or 40GB? I cannot find this information on the very limited official lenovo page.

The reason I am wondering is that I plan to use an external GPU enclosure and drive a 4K 32" monitor, and an external hard disk enclosure with the machine and hoping to have enough bandwidth.
