X1 Yoga 2017 Sierra modem driver questions
=======================================
This laptop's drivers are listed at https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/prod ... /downloads .
A confusing circumstance regards the Sierra Wireless EM7455 drivers, which are distributed in TWO forms (both in the "Networking: Wireless WAN" section):
1) Sierra Wireless EM7455 Software for Windows 10 (64-bit) - ThinkPad, 7.47.4743.0105, 2017/10/16 (191MB, nz3wn02w.exe)
2) Sierra Wireless Lenovo Mobile Broadband Driver Package (EM7455) for Windows 10 (64-bit) - ThinkPad, Build.4620/16.8.1030.26, 2017/01/31 (134MB, n1own02w.exe)
Can someone give me a hint about what the difference between these two driver packages is?
I guess it makes no practical sense to install both. Also these are big archives. Additionally confusing is that they have different dates and altogether different versioning schemes.
Any insight here would be much appreciated, thanks!

The only important component is the EM firmware version. The driver is already in Windows 10 because it uses standard MBIM interface. Get the most recent one.

Puppy, thanks for responding!
Now, So the first package has version "7.47.4743.0105" and the second one has version "Build.4620/16".
Can you even correlate these?
Do you understand why they distributed two in the first place?
