My Yoga 920 has a Qualcomm atheros qca61x4a network adapter with the most current driver. I would like to force it to connect to my home mesh wifi system at 5G rather than 2.4G but there's no setting option for that, as there is for many network adapters. Is there a way to force the 5G connection?
Thanks!

Re: Wifi adapter -- force 5G?
Start > devmgmt.msc > Network Adapters > *your QCA6174A wifi adapter* > Right click > Properties > Advanced > *802.11 modes* > Set to 5Ghz only.
Above will work only if your adapter's drivers allows you to modify this.
