Not sure if this is relevant here, but I am running Windows 7 32-bit on a T60 with an ATI X1300, and my driver version is 8.561.0.0, driver date 01/12/2008 (UK locale so DD/MM). This appears to be a little newer than the Vista driver available on the Lenovo support site. I'm pretty sure this driver was just picked up by Windows update on a clean install.

How did you jump over the hurdle that GWX or the ISO image installation tells you that an upgrade is not possible?

With my system (T60, X1300) this is everytime the case...
Until now I did not find any way to go through the installation.

Would you please explain the steps you did?

Best wishes, Klaus
Anybody with an answer??
I've got the same problem. Been searching the forums for a couple of hours and haven't found a solution yet.

I have a similar T60 and had been getting two error messages from GWX, unsupported CPU and no suitable driver for your graphics card.

I downloaded the microsoft media creation tool to make a bootable usb installer. https://community.amd.com/external-link ... Fwindows10

Made the installer in windows then rebooted with the bootable USB installer in. I selected upgrade and download updates & it went some way through the setup program before marking the drive and telling me to reboot and run it from windows.

When I ran it in windows it halted and told me that my CPU (2400) did not have NX. I know that it does from running intel's CoreCPU. So I went into the BIOS > Security> switched Data Execution Prevention (or similar) to disabled. f10 to save and exit.

That solved the unsupported CPU problem and after a warning about no supported graphics driver it is currently running the installer. I hope that helps.
