I am upgrading computer from Windows 7 to Windows 10 using a bootable USB with Win10 version 1703 or creator's update. Some of my X1 Carbons gen 1 and gen 2 would update just fine and some other would ask for the serial number before the installation kicks in. Does anyone have an idea as of why this happens?
Thank you in advance for your help!
