Hello, I have a T430 which I have upgraded and dissasembled quite a lot of times. I got a deal on a SSD and I plan to change my current SSD (2013 device, I will use it on an older desktop), so I will, once again, replace another part. I run Windows 10 on this machine and everything works flawlessly. However, it won't let me update to the april update (2004). In Windows Update it appears as "The may 2020 update is on the way. Once it is ready you'll see the update available in this page." (in Spanish but it basically says that). I have already updated every computer I could, from a i7-2600 desktop or some Asus laptops to a new (not mine) Thinkpad X280.
The question is for the owners of T430 series and newer thinkpads running Windows 10. Is it safe to "force" the update? I will make a fresh install but if I get the ISO from Microsoft install tool it will probably download the latest (2004 or newer). Should I get an older Windows 10 ISO?
Update: I already installed it with a fresh Windows 10 2004 ISO and everything is working great. I haven't found any compatibility issue. Perhaps my former Windows 10 install got Windows Update bugged and it couldn't download it. Anyways, everything is working much faster now. SSDs with DRAM really make a difference.

Re: Update T430 to Windows 10 2004
I got it last week too, it took 15 minutes to install and it is working fine. They finally released it on time, not like 2004! It is a much smaller patch too.
