I haven't used Adobe Flash in years. Any web site still using it isn't worth my time.

How do you open a Lenovo BIOS simulator .SWF-file such as this?
http://download.lenovo.com/lts/BIOS_Sim ... s/W520.swf
More such BIOSes can be found here.

As you mentioned flash player support for browsers are dropped , however it is mentioned internet explorer still has native flash support to open .swf files , that needs to be enabled by add ons /shockwave flash object/enable/temporarily, Also from the link you provided you can use projector content debugger.
As far as i can search depending on the type of the .swf file (video/music/video+music/active animation) some can be opened with standart players like gnome/VLC, (Assuming a bios simulator to be interactive ) active /interactive ones like the bios .swf you linked to needs a player like swfileplayer. Dreamviewer is another option. I can think also some emulators may be helpful.

I have not tried myself , but hope that helps.

Apart from the .swf downloads you pointed to , a search in support returns this , kind of interactive web based version. (674 Simulators)

Old(er) BIOS simulators (until xx30 Series) can be found on my link.
They are downloadable and need a flashplayer.
New(er) versions (from ~xx30/xx40 Series onward) can be found at Vopu's above bsco/index.html link.
BUT, those new(er) simulators are NOT downloadable, and also don't need a flashplayer.

Re: New Windows 10 update permanently removes Adobe Flash
Incidentally, the problem is not just the web. Some software (games, mostly) used flash in their installers. These frequently rely on the system flash player, and don't work when it is globally disabled. Obviously, such installers (which can be 15-20 years old at this point) cannot be updated.
