David Hill announced a concept of a retro ThinkPad. All the features you ThinkPadders missed since the x20 series might be coming back.
Here is a list of the features made known so far:
So dear ThinkPad fans, it is time to work together and support David Hill to turn all our dreams into reality! These forums were setup to hold discussions regarding the ThinkPad retro project and keep the ThinkPad fans on these magnificent forums up-to-date regarding the project. - Exposed screws
- Dedicated volume buttons

- 7-row classic keyboard
- Rubberized paint
- Status LEDs
- ThinkPad logo in red-blue-green design after the original IBM logo
- ThinkLight: Its return will even be better by having 2 ThinkLights on your display.
