Apple (and Dell) are now proudly advertising 1mm key travel as if that's an amazing thing ! God knows why Lenovo don't add 0.5mm to the X1 and push 2mm travel. Does anyone really notice half a mm in thickness and run away screaming from the laptop shouting "it's sooo fat !" ? I always just preferred the look of the non-island keybords, never mind the layout (which is also obviously better). Must just be me, and possibly a handful of others here, because every single manufacturer apes the Apple look slavishly.
