use VLC (videolan.org). This Player eats all, no need for any codecs.
T40p 2373-g1g: 1.6 GHz, 1536 MB RAM, 160 GB @ 5400 rpm drive, 64 MB Video, IBM a/b/g II, CD-RW/DVD Combo II, M10 Fan, Ubuntu 8.04

Ah,Yes,but will this player actually be compatible with the DEVA card the 770's use for DVD playback...???....I will try it,I just left my laptop at work for the weekend....

But does anyone know the actual codec for playing Mpeg-1-2 Unspecified audio on some downloaded TC movies....???

Thanks....
