Are you sure you need it? You tried it and it does not work?

No, it works. But I would like the feature that makes it work like a floppy disk.

Are you using it with DVD-RAM media or DVD-RW/+RW media?

My guess is that the OP is looking for the old (and buggy) utility called Drive Letter Access. It's one of the first things I delete when installing from the recovery disks :) . A quick look at the support site for older systems seems to say that DLA was replaced by DragToDisc. If you really want it, go to the soon-to-be-deleted Support site:

How floppy disks, you can only use DVD-RAM!
The DLA has nothing to do.

The recorder is on another computer. When I have time, I will try this software.
I tell you one thing, from an Italian computer forum, I had already downloaded the latest drivers for dvd-ram that contains
Mkeram.vxd ver. 3.04.00
Mkeudf.vxd ver. 4.11.00
In your software (9X306NE.EXE)
Mkeram.vxd ver. 2.01.00
Mkeudf.vxd ver. 3.06.00

The Italian software is more updated, however it crashes right away and I can't try it.
For this I will try yours and then I'll let you know. However, if you are a more updated, write it here.

I have installed your version. But at the beginning it was wrong. Then I tried to install my version and the my upgrade version. But both told me to uninstall the version on your computer. Strange, my second, an update, did not want your old. After a while started to work, yours, and now I'm good to go.
Thank you very much!

Glad that it worked in the end. :)

Will be useful to know in case someone else needs a similar setup.

Thanks for letting us know. :thumbs-UP:
