Can I change languages on windows 98?

#1 Post by aradia1233 » Wed Sep 21, 2022 12:38 pm

I found a image of a recovery disc for a 600e.only problem is its German.

Would I be able to change the language once I formated it with this disc?

Thanks!

No. With Windows 98, the language is pretty strongly tied into the core OS files. It is not merely an addon pack like it is today.

Could you not copy Win98 from an english version CDROM to C: drive and then run setup.exe from there?
