Access Connections 3.71 Pausing Server Service in WinXP SP2

#1 Post by Conmee » Sun Jul 24, 2005 8:19 pm

Folks,

I've run into this interesting situation when rebuilding WinXP SP2 on a clean HDD on my T42p. After installing WinXP SP2 and installing the latest IBM drivers and ThinkVantage Technologies, I've noticed that Access Connections 3.71 pauses the Server Service right after I logon. I can keep Access Connections from loading, and the Server Service keeps on running. If I manually launch Access Connections after logging on, it again pauses the server for some reason. Anyone else come across this?

It seems that the profile settings I used caused the problem. If I select Disable Internet Connection Sharing from within the Access Connections profile I use, then I notice that the Server service is paused. Not a big deal, but wondering if anyone else sees this behaviour.
