I had a laptop user, say, "Dirk".
I gave Dirk a WinXP login ("dirk") and enrolled a set of three fingerprints.
Time passes, and it has become necessary to delete Dirk's network permissions, his profile, and his local account on the ThinkPad.
How can I "unenroll" is IBM ThinkPad Fingerprint information?
As far as I can tell, it still remembers his fingerprints. When Dirk tries it, it says "OK Matched", and tries to log in as him. Windows refuses the credentials, of course, but they are still stored somewhere.
Furthermore, if Dirk wants to enroll his finger under another username ("Bob the Backup Guy"), it refuses -- saying that this fingerprint is already enrolled!
So, as Administrator, how do I flush the enrolled fingerprints of a deleted user?
How to delete enrolled fingerprints for a deleted account?

Just in case anyone else runs into this in the future, the answer is...
You must enable "Secure mode" under FingerPrints->Settings->Security Mode.
After that, when you select "Delete passport and fingerprints", you will have the option of deleting users other than the one currently logged in.
I now return you to your regularly scheduled discussion about model comparisons and UPS tracking information..
