URL in Email- not working.

On my A31P and T43P
XP SP-1 and XP-SP-2
Both with the latest IE 6

If I get an Email with a URL and I click on the URL all I get is a blip and a tone.
I've scanned for virus, defragged and reverted tt a pevious Config Safe
to no avail.
Every thing else is fine.

I'm missing some hook.

I'm on DSL

My other Thinkpads with win 2000 and XP work fine.

Any ideas or help.

Yes and no. since it did not apply to XP
Gave me the idea try System Restore which I had never done, but relyied on ConfigSafe.

Fortunatly I did have data in System Resore so I went back beyond
when I discovered the problem.
And WALLA-0- all fixed.
