Experience with Acronis True Image 8.0 and a X31

#1 Post by kthch » Sun Aug 14, 2005 8:28 am

1. I created a bootable (Acronis) CD.
2. Then I made an image backup of the c-partition to an external USB-HD.
3. X31 bootet from the CD
4. Restore works from the USB-HD
5. XP boots and asking me username and password, then XP boots and asking me username and pasword, .....

Any ideas?

Is there a Username and Password for Acronis?

Certain versions of Norton Ghost require a serial number before you can access the backup. Maybe Acronis has the same kind of thing???

Acronis TI doesn't require any logons or user ID's. The problem is that "kthch" needs to perform a Windows user logon.
