Evernt Viewer warnings. What are they?
I just restored my system to the state as it was shipped. So, everything is formatted. I wanted to check the Evert Viewer what messages and warnings does it show for each installed application. And when installed Norton antivirus and launched LiveUpdate got those warnings in Event Viewer:
The COM+ Event System failed to fire the ConnectionMade method on subscription {CD1DCBD6-A14D-4823-A0D2-8473AFDE360F}-{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}-{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}. The subscriber returned HRESULT 80004001.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
The COM+ Event System failed to fire the ConnectionMadeNoQOCInfo method on subscription {A82F0E80-1305-400C-BA56-375AE04264A1}-{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}-{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}. The subscriber returned HRESULT 80004001.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Does anyone know what kind of problem is this (if is a problem) and how to fix it?
And after rebbot I got another one:
Windows saved user MATIJO\Matija Kraševec registry while an application or service was still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the user's registry has not been freed. The registry will be unloaded when it is no longer in use.
This is often caused by services running as a user account, try configuring the services to run in either the LocalService or NetworkService account.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Do you think Norton is causing this?

Make a note of the actual event id number and search:
http://www.eventid.net
You'll usually get the answer there.
I believe that your third event is Norton. I get the same event notification, and I have Norton Internet Security installed. It is necessary that Norton has that account so that it can start protecting your Thinkpad at startup.
I also get the first notification. I believe that it is related to the fact that your Windows Messenger has not started at bootup. Please check the website I suggested to make sure, and for the other event notification.

Yes I tried online datadase but can't find enough info there. And they dont have help for many events which can be caused by different sources. Checket www.eventid.net and think it's better.

This warning is explained here and can be remedied by installing Microsoft's "User Profile Hive Cleanup Service" available here.krma-thkpds wrote:Windows saved user MATIJO\Matija Kraševec registry while an application or service was still using the registry during log off.
