Intel Pro/1000 MT mobile

Windows update gives the option of the latest driver for the Intel network software update - released on June 29 2005.

I always use the IBM drivers - but my current driver is so old that I wonder if this will give any benefits?

Thanks

While some people believe in using Windows Update for hardware driver updates, I never trust it. I had some problems in the past trying this, so I steer clear of it. If I see a hardware driver update listed on Windows Update, I look for the updated driver on the PC manufacturer's site or the hardware manufacturer's site. I'll then download and update it from there.
