Yet another Windows issue you should know about-

I've created one of these 'long' keys and for the record- every 3rd party registry editor I have tried can see it just fine but regedit.exe cannot.

Note, there are (2) versions of registry editor. regedit.exe and regedt32.exe. Regedt32.exe is more powerful and can see long registry strings. At least it can in W2K, and I believe it can in Win XP as well. Also FYI, regedt32.exe is how you can change permissions or security on programs in the registry.
