What's New in Omega Drivers?
v2.6.61

* Based on the Catalyst 5.8 Official drivers.
+ Added support for x700 Mobility cards.

What's new for ATI Tray Tools?
1.0.3.730

* Updated display rotation module.
* Update device names database
+ Added Catalyst A.I. control into Direct3D submenu
* Improved OSD support for OpenGL games and applications.
* Moved all I2C control functions into kernel mode driver.
+ Added option in General Settings to disable reset clocks before suspend mode.
* Update "OSD Example" plugin. Added option to show power status. (Battery life time)
+ Added new auto overclocking mode depended on computer power status.

Has anyone installed these on their ThinkPads yet? If you have please leave your laptop model or just your video card spec. I have already installed this on my desktop, no problem so far and probably wont be any just like the previous releases.

Ok, I just got back home and installed this new driver, here is the 3dmark01 result:
IBM X300 latest driver: 7106
Omega 5.8 driver: 7588

My laptop is very stable so far :)

did you try to close your laptop lid, and then start log into it opening it.
because i found the new driver have this problem. it will freeze and need to reboot my laptop

Ok I just tried closing the lid and standby, no problem in both cases.
I also noticed a slight decrease in temperature, usually after playing cs:source, my idle temp never goes down to 49C and below, now it drops to 46-47 very quickly.

what software did you use to indicate the temperature. i am curious of my lappy temp too.
