About customizing "Start" -text

Is there any easy way to change the "Start" (in my case "Käynnistä") text that is on the taskbar?

I'd like to shorten it a bit or just to leave the flag in it. Would give a bit more space in the taskbar that way. E.g. TweakUI doesn't have an option for that, to my knowledge. Thanks.
