I think I will be selling my trusty old 380xd. I need to wipe all of my personal info off of it before I sell it. Is there a way, without a full format and reinstall of win98, to do this?
I'd like to just basically reset it back to the most basic OS.
Thanks,
Josh
Is there a way to revert back to the basic OS win98 on a 380

You can delete many of your programs, files, clean up the registry a bit with a freeware registry cleaner, but there will still be some remnents of you left in the system via the index.dat files. Luckily getting rid of them is supposed to be easier in 98 than newer OS's. You can Google how to delete them.
