New R40: reinstall windows XP pro.. what drivers needed

I just got a used (new to me) R40. I will be reinstalling windows XP Pro. What drivers wil i need to dl from IBM? What is necessary, and optional?

Here is where you start

If using the TP, just have it autodetect
If using another, fill in the type etc from the label on the bottom

One driver I haven't installed yet is the IBM Director System Support Pack, SMBus driver support.

What is it, and do I need it?

What about the harddrive frimware upgrade? Anything gained from that?
