Shared Documents folder got stuck

#1 Post by krma-thkpds » Fri Jan 27, 2006 8:48 am

After running Network Setup Wizard several times configuring different possibilities I finally decided I will not share any of my folder on the network.

But now my Shared Documents folder got stuck. I do not know exactly what I did to deserve this :) but now it is named only Documents instead of Shared Documents and is not accessible.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

You can boot up in Safe Mode, right-click on the Shared Documents folder and change the permissions to gain access. If no user has access to the folder, then you need to first add a user account there, close the dialog box, reopen the dialog box and add the permissions.
