Installing IIS

I need to install IIS for a project I'm working on but am having some trouble. Windows keeps telling me that it can't find dlls that are indeed where it's looking in windows\i386. I borrowed a friend's XP Pro install disc and it still doesn't work. Anyone know how I can get IIS to install properly?

I was looking to get a solution for the same. So, let me share my experience.

I uninstalled the Norton Anti-Virus and install the IIS and then reinstall the Norton Anti-Virus..This resolves my problem.
