Disable PreDesktop Area enventhough hidden partition is gone

#1 Post by kungpow » Wed Feb 15, 2006 5:05 am

I have an IBM T40/p and have made a lowlevel format (Now all partitions also the hidden one is gone).

But is there any reason to disable the PreDesktop Area when I have removed the hidden partiton myself?

WinXP can see all my space eventhough I have not disabled the PreDesktop Area so I guees this function is superlous when I have removed the partition myself?

Just out of curiosity why don't you disable and see if you get any more space, it could still be clinging to a few megs.
