Software issues with IBM ThinkPad R40

Hello. I have 2 issues.


1 is with the IBM client security logon. I remember playing around with services & I think this causes it to not run on startup.

The client security loads, but the logon doesn't have the skin.


2 is with wireless. for some reason it disconnects from time to time. Does this happen when it's at highest power saving mode?
