plug and play help

#1 Post by dorin » Thu Apr 20, 2006 2:10 am

or should i say plug and pray? :)

ok, so recently i've reinstalled windows, and since then i noticed that everytime i insert a new device windows is prompting me for installation, before it just proceed by itself and only in the end was saying device installed, now i have to give next, next, next and so on.

anybody has any idea where that option is?!

thanks,

dorin

Is it the same operating system or upgrade, and are the devices the same ones you have always used?

'though i visit almost everyday the forum i haven't seen your reply.

its about new devices, or the old ones pluged in after a system restore. as said, i'd like to have it like before, to automatically install them not to ask me for every single step to click yes.

thanks for any ideas,

dorin
