network connections keeps popping up

So, while away in a hotel, I had to create a SHARE THIS INTERNET CONNECTION setup, in order to use a wired connection, AND use some other laptops. That WAS A bit of a pain, but I finally got it working. It is a bit of a black art I think.

But, the issue that maintains now, is that now that I have ended the SHARE THIS internet connection, and UN BRIDGED the network connections of the ETHERNET connection and WIFI connection,

I get this NETWORK CONNECTION pop up all the time, asking me to confirm WHICH network connection it would like me to use.

Any way to fix this. In the options, under internet, I have have ALWAYS connected to internet selected?
