Windows XP File Sharing Not Accessible

Hi everyone,

I used to be able to share my folders and documents on my home network. Ever since I upgarded my Access Connection version to v4.11a (I think, could be other unknown reasons as well), other nodes on my network can still display my shared folders, but cannot access into my shared folders anymore. I can still access others' shared folders on the network.

I tried both simple file sharing mode and advance file sharing mode to manually allow access, both didn't work.

I am not using any firewall except Windows default firewall. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

Sounds like a permission problem to me, which certainly shouldnt have anything to do with Access Connections. With Advanced Fileshareing, look into the tabs sharing and security on the specific folders.

Somebody suggested to run the Network Setup Wizard and it helped! That's kinda odd cuz I thought I have tried that already but nevertheless, I gave it a shot and it worked. =)
