Linksys Wireless Card

bought a wireless card not to long ago, installed it several times on my windows xp t21 laptop and it wont find the signal.... i have tried it on other computers and it wont work, it worked fine when i had windows 2000 installed. im using my old 11mb lucent technologies one right now until i can figure out why this one wont work. it says its compatible with windows xp... any ideas?

Do you have your router set to send "Mixed" signals? (ie. B & G, instead of B only)
