Any opinions from early adopters of IE 7?

I haven't tried it yet, so I was wondering what you early adopters think about the pros and cons of IE 7.

been using it for a couple of weeks

nice layout and lots of built in shortcuts via your mouse i.e. open tabs, links etc.

crashed on me couple of times- best guess was google search window and auto phishing thingy near progress bar at bottom got signals crossed.......agian just guessing

phishing filter may make loading of pages seem slower

all in all its good...won't sweep you off your feet like firefox or opera but it does the job

Works like a charm, no problems with stability or crashes, feels quite ready for the official release actually.

I have seen it but not loaded it yet. I shall wait until it's into production. It doesn't fix (for me) the problem with all Microsoft applications that I would like fixed.

Specifically: When I open a new window in the application, I would like it to open precisely and exactly over the top of the existing windows for that specific application. I find the tendency for new windows to be offset from the original by a half-inch in two directions to be messy and intolerable. I open a new window and instantly fix it before starting to work.

I would also like to have a setting that dictated the size and location of any application window I opened, so that if I altered a window, the next open would open correctly.

Funny, I was just thinking about starting a thread on IE7. I just loaded it yesterday after the discussion in dsigma6's thread.

I REALLY like it. Though, I have noticed that the clarity of the fonts has changed. It is like it is intended for people with a resolution higher than 1024x768. It is almost like there is some grey ghosting of the fonts. I am sure that there is a setting for it, which I haven't spent the time looking for.

I LOVE the tabs within each browser window. I like Firefox, too, but it always takes so long to load that I have stuck with IE. I did find that I had to change a setting to get my home page to load instead of the blank "about" page.

It is taking some getting used too, but I am hooked. :D :D
