tfswctrl.exe not responding

#1 Post by dsigma6 » Wed May 24, 2006 7:36 am

i've looked up "tfswctrl.exe" as it has been not responding every time i shut down or hibernate- i found that it is required for reading burnt cds- does anyone know why the process would do this, either specific to this file, or in general?

Recommendation :
Many users have reported shutdown problems caused by TFSWCTRL "not responding". In all cases, since they were never using the DLA software and were instead using the CD Writing software to create their CDs, they simply de-installed HP’s DLA and that solved all their problems with TFSWCTRL.
