cant send page by link with outlook exp after using Outlook

#1 Post by madmaven » Tue May 30, 2006 8:24 pm

I started using Microsoft Outlook XP after installing a new windows XP Pro on my thinkpad G40. I decided i didn't really like it and deleted my account from it and set up Outlook Express. now whenever I am at a web page and I want to email the page as a link or even the page itself, It tells me you can not create a new outlook profile at this time, yada, yada, So it appears it haas defaulted to Outlook. question is how do I get it back to opening Outlook Express as the mail software that sends out the web page link?
ALso does any one out there know how to turn of those annoying bubbles that emanate from the corner of your task bar?Like your wireless connection is connected, updtates are available, and so on
Thanks

I don't use Outlook or Outlook Express. But open Internet Explorer and click on Tools > Internet Options > Programs, and set defaults there. Hopefully that will get you fixed up.
