You can find the oeminfo.ini here: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=1885
And the oemlogo.bmp here: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=19894

I assume it's the same for all Thinkpads.

Not sure if i understand, you want me to send you the oeminfo.ini as an attachment? Because if you click at the link above for the oeminfo.ini file in my first post you will find a post from ian. You can copy the text from ian's post (or copy the text shown below) into notepad and save the file as oeminfo.ini.

Then the oeminfo.ini file should contain the text exactly as shown below:
; OEMINFO
; 02\05\01

; This file contains manufacturer, model and support information
; that is displayed in the system control panel.

; Manufacturer and Model are displayed on System.General page
; Manufacturer is a required field

[general]
;Be carefully not to leave any trailing spaces after your manufacturer name!
Manufacturer=IBM Corporation
SupportURL=http://www.pc.ibm.com

[ICW]
AllOffers=1 ; Note: AllOffers=1 specifies that the MS list of ISPs will be displayed if user clicks on MS ICW
Product=IBMPC

; Support Info displayed when "Support Information..." button selected

The IBM logo won't show unless you also got the oeminfo.ini file. Both files ("oemlogo.bmp" and "oeminfo.ini") should be saved in the directory "%SystemRoot%\system32". This is the only two files you need. You said that the oeminfo is good to go so i assume you saved the file as "oeminfo" (without the .ini extention) instead of "oeminfo.ini"?
