Microsoft OneCare Faces Challenge from Rivals

Symantec's Norton 360 and McAfee's Falcon both will offer services similar to OneCare, which launched on Wednesday, promising protection against viruses, spyware, and other malicious software as well as help with improving PC performance.

Microsoft's OneCare costs $49.95 for an annual subscription that can be applied to three computers simultaneously. It is currently available for download at http://onecare.live.com and will debut as a boxed offering at retailers on June 4.
