Question about XP

Just got my x60s last night and am having fun setting it up. One minor question is I have dialog boxes on startup and shutdown. I mean when I click start,shutdown I get an old fashioned dialog box asking what I want to do rather thatn the three button options i am used too. Also when going thru the shutdown procedure the little sentences like "saving your settings" and "logging off " dont look the same as they usually do in XP. Where do I go to change those settings. Couldnt find it in appearances and themes.

Try right clicking the desktop, selecting properties, and then try the other themes.

Go to Start->Control Panel->user accounts

click "Change the way user log on and off"

check "Use Welcome Screen"

That should do it.
