The problem is that Windbg uses either a 1394 or serial port cable to connect to the target machine. The T43 does not have either one (though the serial port is available with a docking station, I don't plan on getting one).

Anyone ever got over this issue?

Do you think a parallel to serial converter might work? Here are several. There are others.
