T60 - Offline Files keep being disabled

#1 Post by superbrudd » Sun Jun 11, 2006 11:50 pm

Hi,
Whenever I enable 'Offline Files' (Windows Explorer - Tools - Folder Options - Offline Files - "Enable Offline Files"), everything synchronises fine, then when I reset the computer, the "Enable Offline files" checkbox has been unchecked!

Any ideas why this might be?

Thanks!
Brad

Is your machine part of an AD domain? Do you know if there are any GPOs set that would be controlling this?

the only time ive encountered that problem is when fast user switching is enabled/disabled.

It seems that it was a registry key... fast user switching wasn't properly disabled...
