Bootvis

#1 Post by akhavan » Sat Aug 19, 2006 1:00 am

Hi,

Once in a while I use MS Bootvis program to improve the bootup time of my computer. The other day I was looking at C\Program Files\Microsoft Bootvis and I realized the size of the folder is 220MB.

My question is if its better to uninstall Bootvis after each use and then reinstall it whenever I want to use it or simply leave it as it is.

Thanks

Sepehr

I think it'll only be that big because of the trace file/s that are created when you run the program. I'm looking at my Bootvis folder and it's 122MB, but when I get rid of the trace file that's in there, it goes down to a bit more than 1MB.

Hi,

Then I can just safely delete the trace files and still be able to use bootvis next time around?
