ok how many process is too many

on a fresh boot I have to wait almost three to four minutes before I can start working ... thus why I use hibernation ... I have immediately 81 processes and 15270m handles ... using 500 RAM ... besides the nod32, zonealarm firewall, outlook, and wireless or network ...

any comments or suggestion of how to get this down would be welcome

Let's avoid beating a dead horse here. There are many threads on this. Just search for the word "processes".
