got error when using rnr

Hi Guys,

I got a serious problem with my t40. I tried to use the rnr to get back to the factory content. However, whenever I tried, it would end up with an error saying recov error. I do not have the recovery cds and I am trying to fix the MBR with the tool on lenovo site. But it seems useless...... Any idea?

I gather Lenovo will sell factory recovery disks for $40 - have you tried contacting them?

not yet. I guess I have to buy the discs then.
