How to get a res. of 1280x960 in XP?

#1 Post by coolsilicon » Mon Oct 02, 2006 3:19 pm

Under Vista (RC1) I have a lot of resolutions to choose from that I don't have under XP. Sometimes it'd be useful to go from the native 1400x1050 to 1280x960. Is there a tool that would allow me to add more resolutions? I'd like to keep the original driver provided by Lenovo, so I'd rather want an "addon" of some kind.

If you click Advanced > Adapter > List all modes, you can choose from a variety of settings.

IBM TP T41p (1.7G/1GB/100GB-7k100/DVD-CDRW/SXGA+/BT)
IBM TP T22 (900/512/40/DVD/CDRW/14")
IBM TP A31 (1.8GHz/512MB/40GB/DVD-CDRW/15" SXGA)
For sale: n/a
WTB: n/a

Thanks, but the list has the exact same resolutions you normally get. Furthermore, I'd like to have a tool that resides in the systray, preferably offering the different resolutions by a single mouse-click. Do I ask to much? 8)
