Google keeps stealing my IE homepage

#1 Post by synapse » Mon Aug 23, 2004 11:02 pm

Hi-

I keep on setting my IE homepage to about:Blank but everytime I restart my computer it is set back to goodle, which I did set it to at one point before I decided I just wanted blank. I do have the goodle toolbar installed but I didn't select the checkbox to make it my homepage. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

google doesn't do that. Sounds like spyware. Run Adaware or Spypatrol.

Do you use IBM Access Connections? You may have specified google as your homepage in the connection profile you're using.
