STRANGE FILE EXTENSION

#1 Post by W4JVE » Tue Nov 07, 2006 11:57 am

I run XP-home on my thinkpad. I received a disc of photos from an individual and when I try to read it, it shows up as a ".sonic" file extension. Can't find anything on the web about it.

Can anyone give me some clues on what this is and how I might retrieve the photos.

Thanks, Don

Not sure what to do about it, but I'd guess that it was created by CD- or DVD-burning software from Sonic Solutions. Maybe they burned it in a format that's incompatible with your computer?
