Delaying Startup

#1 Post by eTools » Wed Nov 08, 2006 1:10 am

Would you recommend using programs to set delays on programs at startup? It takes roughly 10 seconds once the desktop has loaded for all my startup programs to load during which I'm unable to do anything.

Is everything you have running necessary? I liken it to a car...You don't get in, turn the key and immediately accelerate- Unless you don't care about the car.

So run that program and you'll have yet another program on startup!

BTW- 10 seconds? Is it really such a bother? If it was 30-60 I could understand, but 10 is normal.
