I restored a backup of my T40 which had Windows XP SP2. The files were restored to a second harddrive in the Ultrabay Slim. When I attempt to boot from this drive, when Windows XP completes booting, I get the following error message:
"Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close."
Subsequently, I cannot get any programs to execute, the taskmanager will not appear and I cannot reboot.
I am not sure if the problem is with a bad backup or there is a problem with Rapid Restore and Windows XP SP2.
I have restored previous backups of Rapid Restore to the second harddrive without having problems with Windows XP.
