AutoDisable Missing

#1 Post by sturpe » Mon Nov 13, 2006 9:47 am

I running Windows 2000 on my i1200, 1161-62U. I cannont get a PS2 Mouse to work. The problem seems to be the file where I am supposed to select AutoDisable or Automatic.

Lenovo Support says the AutoDisable function should be in the ThinkPad Configuration. ThinkPad Configuration should be accessed from one of the following sources.

1. Bios.
2. Programs...ThinkPad
3. Programs...Access IBM
4. Programs...ThinkVantage

I have looked in all four places and the AutoDisable function is nowhere to be found.

In Notebook Manager, it says, "Pointing Device Internal installed only" however, in control panel, mouse, it says that the PS/2 Compatible Mouse is working properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
