creating cd's dvd's & other software installs

anyone have any success using the built in software vs record now from the xp build as i can't find a new version of either of these. hopefully these will be out in Jan also. i can't figure out how with vista to create a dvd or cd from a iso file. i don't want to install drivers and software like this that is not supported. I did however install other software that was "not" compatible, like PCA although it disabled some drivers, and adobe acrobat 8 was tough cause it kept saying there was no room in the temp dir, i found the extracted file in the neo... dir and that once run worked to install reader 8

For burning CDs and DVDs go for Nero. The current release from Ahead is Vista compatible.

I doubt that there will be updated versions of RecordNow and the other software that is bundled with TPs.
